No global warming, no climate change

I listen to arguments about global warming and climate change; about the effects or non-effects of human intervention and the tipping point, and I think that somewhere in all of that, something is being lost.

That 'something' is that even if global warming and climate change prove to be no more than a blip, polluting the planet is bad, and it should not take the threat of global Armageddon to stop people from doing it.
