Tracey Emin And Political Allegiances

Tracey Emin, speaking at a preview of a show if her work at the Hayward Gallery yesterday said, in defence of voting Tory that:

"and remember, Tory people are massive collectors of the arts. For a lot if my friends who think I'm crazy for voting for the Tories - I want to know who buys their work? Who arethe biggest philanthropists? I promise you, it is not Labour voters."

So now I know what dictates Tracey Emin's political allegiances; It's anyone who pays the bills.

So that leaves the door wide open for the fascist party, if it took to patronising artists.

Ah too harsh - I am sure she would draw the line there. She could probably sell the line as well. To the Tories.

I am not in favour of my writing here. I am against people who constantly attack other people's behaviour. I should be saying - "Good for you Tracey Emin, getting those right-wing Tories to spend their money on something arty rather than on something repressive."

So good for you Tracey Emin, for getting those right-wing Tories to spend their money on something arty rather than on something repressive.

All pals again, and I feel much better.
