A Cynosure Attracts Attention

A cynosure is a person or thing that attracts a lot of attention or interest. The word comes from the Greek and is a combination of dog and tail - kun-oura.

And that is because of the appearance of the constellation Ursa Minor which contains the pole star.

And of course the pole star is the centre around which everything appears to rotate.
