Blogo is a publishing app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
They just announced it was changing from a paid model to a free + paid features model. The reason is that over a two-year period their app was downloaded illegally more than 60,000 times.
You can download the app for Mac on the MacAppStore and that is what I am using to write this article.
You can read Blogo’s article on how they decided to go for a subscription model because they couldn’t fight the pirates. As they say, they closed down 2,000 torrent links and it was biting into the time they wanted to devote to make the app better.
