Failing to Understand Saddam Hussain in Iraq and Muammar Gaddafi in Libya


I am still amazed that Saddam Hussain in Iraq and Muammar Gaddafi in Libya didn't do deals to save their necks.

What kind of people were they that they could not see the writing on the wall?

These are probably the strangest events that I do not understand from the past decade of world history.
